Salpiglossis Royale Mixed

Salpiglossis has lanceolate leaves and bright trumpet-shaped, veined flowers in jewel colours that bloom right through Summer and well into Autumn. Salpiglossis 'Royale Mixed' bears beautiful trumpet flowers on upright, bushy plants. The flowers make good cut-flowers.

Painted tongue is an excellent cut flower in areas where summer nights cool down. Good massed in containers where deadheading and care become easy.

• Seeds germinate in 14-21 days.
• Surface sow seeds but cover either with a layer of soil or cardboard until just germinated, as the small seeds need darkness in order to germinate.
• Start indoors 10-12 weeks before last frost or direct seed outdoors after last frost.
